Not to burst your bubble or anything...BUT

1. The Blue Angels actually do not fly the Super Hornet.  They dont even fly the "C" model Hornet.  They fly the "A" model.

2. We (169th VAF) have tried doing major formations of aircraft in FS.  The parameters for the precision that is involved is just not possible with the network conditions that are sometimes utterly horrible on FS.  The only way I could ever see this being possible is if you were all on the same LAN.  The lag can get pretty bad. (More Planes=More Lag)

3. I have never been able to find a frame rate friendly Hornet to where other mulitplayer players around me dont see me glitch and vise versa.

These are merely things to think about.  Im not trying to put you down and say you cant do it.  I just dont want someone to waste time like I did trying to do something like this.

I knew someone would post this.....
look, I am a BIG PICTURE person. I don't pay attention to these details. I would guess that we could make changes to accomodate these problems.........
I'd think that it IS possible. Just look at the Virtual Thunderbirds.

aww but i had 2 great points i wanted to make!!!!

well here they are anyway:

look, I am a BIG PICTURE person. I don't pay attention to these details.

Its the little details that make or break someone. In order for something to work you must have a big picture and be able work out the little details.  ;D

Also, your 12, im sorry, nothing personal, but you dont have the experience, nor the knowledge to pull something this extreme off. again nothing personal.

NOW we can close this thread

Ok i got it of my mind  ;D ;D ;)

see the idea i had is that creators create two models. a hi-res version, and a multiplayer version. everyone gets the multiplyer version of the aircraft, and you switch to the hi-res. it will lower lag times due to graphics.

It's a nice idea in theory but it would take hours and hours of practice and with FS attaining the kind of precision you'd need is incredibly difficult, I would join but just doing a duo display takes a lot of my skill.

The "Virtual Blue Angels" and The "Virtual Thunderbirds" are all on Lock On Modern Air Combat.  There are actually 2 thunderbird teams, the other is on Falcon 4 Allied Force, which I am actually the #1 in.  Believe me, its tough.

The E and F models are a bit bigger than the A/C and B/D...If you cant tell by looking at it that way, the engine intakes are squared off on the Super Hornet, and the control surfaces are more squared off for a more stealthy radar cross reference.
