***Ramos Free Flight ATC sessions***

Postby legoalex2000 » Tue Jun 13, 2006 11:59 am

I plan to host some big time ATC sessions, with both ATC controllers and ARTCC controllers.

some of the plans we have for this:

>a different area every time - the first testbed area is in the northeast US
>5 to 6 ATC controllers with 1 - 2 ARTCC controllers passing aircraft along, via FS and Teamspeak
>hosted on the Ramos Server, any connection problems are your own. ;)
>we will be open all day, so everyone, including those across the pond get a chance.

im shooting for a saturday, sometime between this coming saturday and mid july. and then we will see where we go from there.

if you sound interested, by all means reply ;)

www.drumlineramos.com/RamosFreeFlight.html has all the info about the server.

Count me in :) I can be ATC...I would prefer Boston Logan tower/ground, cause that used to be my closest big airport.
Need help setting this event up PM me.

If i'm free, i'd love to join. I don't have a lot of experience flying with ATC, but i'll do what I can not to cause too much havoc.. :)

just as a hint, if you need a good ATC plane, use kirks f-16 with eric's panel. it has a working radar ;)

That isnot good enough, it gives you a basic refrence to aircraft location, isnt verry precice, small, doesent show airspace boundarys, and most important, doesent show multiplayer aircraft if you havent noticed. ;D Dont worry we have an ATC program, its all sorted out, all we need is people to fly  ;D

Edit:

Its funny to think that people who have never been to our server and never have done an ATC sessoin with us are trying to give us hints. ;) Seriously, we need pilots to make this all work and be fun. ;D
