SA Tour #10

Hey guys!  Well Jared asked me to help out with the hop list again, so I planned out the next several hops taking us from where we left off to Panama City.  So, I will be taking over for a bit as your 'guest planner', Jared will continue to host the sessions (thank you Jared ;))

On June 3rd 2006 starting at 9pm eastern daylight time we shall strive to complete the 10th hop of our trip down to South America!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Route between MSLP (SAN SALVADOR, EL SALVADOR) and MHTG (TEGUCIGALPA, HONDURAS):
Distance along great circle: 130.5 statute miles, 113.4 nautical miles, 210.1 kilometers
Initial true great circle heading: 70.6 degrees (east-northeast)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

If you plan on flying something besides a default plane, please feel free to post which one so that others may be able to pick it up before the flight, and if you decide on using payware please be kind enough to first load in a default plane that is similar in size and then load up your chosen plane.

I will be flying the Douglas DC-3 by MAAM-Sim but I will load in the default so those that do not own the MAAM DC-3 can see me.  I suggest using the DC-3 or a similar plane that cruises around 150 knots.  The Beechcraft Baron should do nicely.

Teamspeak for the flight is hosted by our gracious member Sam and more information about conencting there can be found at the following address:
http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb/ ... 1129930528

As Jared hosts the flight server on his pc and the ip address for his network is done dynamically through his ISP he will announce the ip address by about 7pm tomorrow night.

For general questions please refer to the general question thread:
http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb/ ... 1123882151

As always I would love to encourage all who have flown with us in the past, and anyone else to join us at any point during the flight or the tour itself.

Happy flying!

Jake ;D

I'll be there too, probably within a very confined and basic install of the sim. BUT I WILL be there :)

Perhaps for the night we can try to run the session on the SimV server set up by our mate Sam?

Slight change of plans guys, I wont be flying the DC-3 (im just not in the mood to deal with its complexity and this morning I keep having difficulty landing it) so I will fly something else.  Im still going to fly an aircraft that travels the same speed, just I dont know what yet, will tell you later

Eh, I cant find a good replacement, Ill deal with the DC-3

Destination Airport Scenery

I couldn't find a scenery here on SimV for MHTG... but if you serach the web for "mhtg.zip by James Hudson" you will find a 2.93 M freeware download.

I'll have that one installed along with the one from our destination last week (MSLP) where we are departing from this week.
