DC-3 Fly In

Postby Jakemaster » Mon May 01, 2006 10:12 pm

Hey guys!

Well, I need to fly my DC-3 more.  And I thought a fly in would be perfect!  We can all use the Default (Ill load in default and switch to MAAM), and fly in to Long Beach (first flight of the DC-3 was in long beach)

I would start flying a few days prior to our meeting date as I would fly from Scholes down in galveston, and Id save the last flight to Long Beach for the day of.  We could all plan on meeting at the airport at at certain time and fly in.  Once there I figure we can go to Catalina Island and land there, then have festivities (formation flying over the island, a display by me, etc)

What do yall think?

BTW Ive already started preparing for my flying, ive printed out the DC-3 checklists and reference sheets and clipped them to my clipboard to operate as realistically as possible (obsessed? yes)

School suck.  Luckely, in florida, we get out on May 17, which, oddly enough, is a Tuesday. Ill definatly be there,  I love my new MAAM DC-3, and It will be fun to fly it.  Ill also do the, default then to the MAAM one.
