I've got all the kit for Teamspeak, Andrew....
It's just that with the Chat Window, everyone can join in and  communicate with everyone else on the flight.
It's a universal method of communication instead of a system restricted to a few individuals who have the necessary equipment to use Teamspeak... ...!
I would imagine, at the moment that the Chat Window users outnumber the Teamspeak users because Teamspeak users are a wealthy, posh, closed society....
..a bit like "The Ancient Order of the Buffaloes"... ...!

So far we havent used Teamspeak throughout our flights/hops.
Like Paul said, the chat window is just as good.
