That was fun. I could have gotten 4th place, but Ashar got 4th and I got 5th because...

LOL! I was wondering what the heck you were doing...and then when I finally realised your mistake...all hell broke loose...I pushed my King Air to the limits...

It's the one that can be seen on final's to runway 5L...huge twisted airfield...

It's from the fact I was in the lead and you were way behind me, same speed, same plane and you magically went 2nm ahead of me.. considerably odd. ::)

Well, I decided to reduce the amount of fuel I carry so that my plane can take off sooner and fly faster. Less fuel, less weight, more speed. However, not enough fuel means not being able to reach the finish line.

I flew with 50% fuel. From that, I went a few knots faster than normal. In fact, I was bordering the established FAA rule of 250 below 10,000ft.

I was going a steady 242 KIAS, and Ice, you were right behind me the whole way to HE0T. On the way back I somehow managed to get so perfectly trimmed that I didn't touch my joystick almost the entire way, that might have affected it.

P.S. I have pics I was taking the whole way back while we were talking about that, just to show my speed, fuel, everything (see #'s 3, 4, and 5 HERE).
