Special Christmas event 2:ICELAND EXPLORER*update*

Postby Jimbo » Sun Dec 11, 2005 6:40 pm

Hey Folks,

I have now planned the event fully.
It was re-sheduled for thursday 15th december 2005, but after reviewing the flight, we wouldn't be finishing the flight/event til late at night for us brits.
So again, and yes im sorry for this, ive re-sheduled it all to SUNDAY 18th, the OFFICAL date for THIS event.
This would be a better time, and more people would be able to make it, and more importantly we would be able to finish the flight!

ALL info can be found at Simalive special events page

So the final details are: Sunday 18th december 2005 at 3:00 Pm GMT

Thanks for looking, and reply with any comments in here.

James :) 8)

Allright Ill join you guys if i can (probably flying my piper seneca 2 payware i got today if thats ok :D) Have to look to see if its fastenough to keep up with King airs though.

*Update* far too slow 197 knots max speed compared to 300+ of King air and only 750 nm range compared to 1500+for King air  >:(

I'll try my best to be there Jimbo. I have to drive my wife to our antique shop around that time, but I'll speak to her and try to arrange an alternative so I can make it...sounds like a great time...

You could meet us at Iceland when we land?

Of course we need to explore the country, and we could do with your knowledge?

What you think Iceland?

Cheers
