Racers need only  to touch down at the finishing runway to end their race.

Does this mean no landing, and you just have to crash land at 150 kts? ;)

;D

When you say "no landing" and "land at 150kts", do you mean "no landing" and "T+G at 150kts"? If so, no, you must land.  ;)

I'm not quite sure on the logic in having it at dusk (dunno if there is any behind it, just that I find flying in the day time better, as you can see where you're going!) , but apart from that, everything seems fine.

Though seeing as I'll probably set my autogen density to sparse/very sparse, to avoid lag, will the obstacles be visible with low density?

The logic at dusk.....when you see the final obstacle, you may understand why clip chose it to be at dusk....

and the obstacles? I am 99% sure all of them will show, unsure about 1 though....

I will say no more..... ;)

Righto! And if one of the obstacles doesn't show, I'll just take the settings up a notch.

Hmm, I wonder what that's all about?

(Fires up FS2004, goes to SF and turns the settings to the appointed date and time, then adds a bit more to allow for the race itself to happen)

Well, I don't see anything...  Hey wait a minute, what's that?

(Flies closer to investigate)

OMIGOD!!!  You fiend!  I mean, yes I've done it before, but never in an Extra 300!

(Performs the obligatory manoeuvre)

You know, that's going to be kind of fun during a race  ;D
