Day of Infamy

For all you folks who remember that fateful day at Pearl Harbor, I believe we should set up a online session on the 7th of December [this Wednsday].

On the 7th of December 1941, a day that has lived in infamy, the Emperial Japanese Navy attacked the American Naval Base at Pearl Harbor. It was an attack that led the US into the second world war and later the defeat of the Japanese Empire.

I am hoping we could all join together at the WSP Oceania server at around 2100 Hours [9 PM] EST. If you wish to consider a different hour, I'm open to suggestions.

As for the aircraft to be used, any vintage fighter that was involved in the Pacific Theater of Operations [PTO] is recommended. Please let us know EXACTLY which aircraft you will be using and also provide a link to the aircraft so that others may use it or see YOU in it.

Again, I'm open to suggestions.

Almost forgot. We should meet at Honolulu Int'l when it starts. It's next to the main site of the attack.

Alright, only a few hours left. If you have internet issues to resolve first, resolve them now or forever hold your peace.

Remember, WSP Oceania Server, Ford Island [NPS] in Pearl Harbor, around 9PM EST.

It doesn't have to be 9PM exact. If you wish to fly in the server much earlier, then go ahead. I might be early as well [if I can finish my arrands first].

I'll be using the P-38 as well. Lovely plane. ;)

I CANT resolve the internet issues cause I have no Idea what they are.  It really pisses me off, and my dad wont get off his ass to try and figure out what the problem is.  I really wish I could fly online, but I cant >:(

How many firewalls are you running? It's best that you run only one wall and no more.

If you are using multiple routers [for DSL or Cable] I would suggest using just one router instead. That way, your online flight won't have to go through the complex process of going through another router.

If you are using Dial up, then I don't know what to do.

No, we have one router, firewall isnt the problem.  My computer wont get an IP.  FOr some reason there is an IP conflict, which is probably easy to fix, but my dad wont do anything

......If you are using Dial up, then I don't know what to do......

If it's of any interest to anyone, I use 56k dial-up, with my modem plugged directly into the telephone line, no routers or other complications, and my on-line flights connect and run faultlessly, smoothly, maxed, and flat-out... ;D...!
...even with Norton running in the background...
..no problemo... ;)...!

Cheers all...!

Paul...Happy on-line pilot!... 8)...!
