Save/Resume a flight in VATSIM
Posted: Fri Mar 11, 2005 8:25 amSince VATSIM allows save a flight and resume it later I was wondering how many virtual pilots use this in order to complete a long range flight.
No, I tend to only fly medium range anyway, but prefer to fly the whole flight.
If for some reason I have to leave the computer for an extended period I will leave the flight running with FMC or FSNavigator and disconect from Squawkbox.
On my return if I am in uncontroled airspace I will simply re-connect, if however ATC are online I reconnect in standby mode, contact the controller and ask for release.
