Multiplayer problem

I looked around and couldn't find anything, so I'll ask. I put in an IP address, put in my calllsign, click search, but nothing happens. It stalls while searching, and nothing pops up in the "Sessions" box. I have FS2002 Standard, and no anti-virus software. I followed the instructions in the post on the top and still nothing pops up.

What operating system are you using ....... and what type of connection?

A Cable connection on Windows XP.

Hum....... with that setup I would immediately suspect the ports you do or do not have open and the firewall.

I have antivirus software, but I disable it while trying to connect. I'll look around for posts about "ports".
