Hi all, I don't seem to be able to host a game, with my freind. is there a port I need to open or something? the screen says connecting but it never gets there, and eventually says connection failed. We have the same problems in fs 2k2 & 2k4 as well. I think its likely to be something simple but don't know what.Can someone tell me how to open these ports?

I had the same problem after I downloaded FSHost, and I couldnt even get into the other games that other players have open so I dunno what the deal is.......

How are you getting online ...... Cable..ADSL or dialup ... are you behind a firewall? What operating system are you using and what version of FS.

It's certainly something to do with one of the above.
