Just wondering if you can fly on vatsim without voice, and also if ai aircraft show up on vatsim or just the planes from other players?

Yes you can fly VAT sans voice.  But I wouldn't recommend it because it kills your realism.

As for other planes, the only aircraft you'll see belong to other players.  AI traffic would be a ridiculous load on a multiplayer server and kill framerates.
