To be fair Fozzer, out of all the shows this is the first time where there have major problems and, lets face it, it was as good as cancelled just as the BBMF started.
It has been suggested that we use a special Password, which will only be given to selected participants, but I'm not sure if this would work, because anyone who connects to Sam's Server at the time of the Show will still be able to cause mischief via the Chat Window......!
(We have a similar problem with our various Multiplayer Tours).
The only other way, is for the organiser to use a special dedicated Server, (their own?), together with a password, which is only given to selected members via the Personal Message system.......!
We have used this method in the distant past for Multiplayer flights, and it worked very well at the time...(providing that the Server connection was reliable)......!
Paul...G-BPLF... 8-)...!
Figured it was only a matter of time before somebody tried to spoil everything... flying trolls...

Foz, if we did get Sam to provide us with a password protection method for the show, I'd ask him that he password protect the server for the entire day so that it's exclusively available to us all day for practising etc and this means that nobody would be able to get on for the day except us. I'd also ask Sam that Tweek and I get admin powers for the day as well... :)
Maybe it's the name "Air Show" which is confusing......?
Most of my recollections of Airshows involves static displays, on the ground, of interesting aircraft, with an occasional air display (Red Arrows?) to entertain the public.
I cannot remember witnessing an aerobatic display of a Concorde/Boeing 747/Douglas DC-3/etc, etc aircraft, overhead of a couple of hundred terrified spectators......
...
...!
Perhaps an "Aerial Display" might be a better description for the occasional demonstration of young/old Pilot's skills in the air, with various suitable! aircraft......?

Note the difference:
Airshow.
Air Display.
Fly-in.

I don't quite know what airshows you go to, but most airshows are predominantly flying displays. Only some like Farnborough and RIAT have huge static displays, others just have a few aircraft on the ground. In fs a static disply would be rather boring so I think there is no problem with calling this an airshow...
