After Christmas is a very long way off and I think folk will just forget about it. Besides Christmas is a very busy time for some people, myself included. I have no problem with you putting it back a few weeks or so however. Work is my biggest problem and I know I'm home on the 14th.

I think christmas is way too far off. Plus, if you do it after FSX is released there are the obvious compatibility issues.

Hmm, will FS9 players and FSX players be able to MP together?

Well surely those who'll be getting FSX right away can hold off uninstalling FS9 for just a few weeks, in case of multiplayer problems.

There doesn't seem to be many people available on the 14th, really, so it's best to find a time that suits everyone.

...never fear...
...I may turn up there... ;)...!
In my trusty Cosmos Flexwing...;)...!

By the way.....

Have you noticed that none of the "Jimbo's Tours" Chaps argue over dates and times...

The dates and times are FIXED! by the organiser (Jimbo).

If we can make it, we make it...
If we can't make it, we don't make it...

It's as simple as that...

...no problemo, everyone knows what they are doing, and everyone is happy... ;D...!

Sorted...;D...!

Paul....G-BPLF...8)...!
Win 8.1 64-bit. DX11. Advent Tower. Intel i7-3770 3.9 GHz 8-core. 8 GB System RAM. AMD Radeon HD 7700 1GB RAM. DVD ROM. 2 Terra Byte SATA Hard Drive. Philips 17" LCD Monitor. Saitek Cyborg X Fly-5 Joystick. ...and a Briggs and Stratton Petrol Lawn Mower.

Problem is, if only 5 people can make it to the show, you've only got 4 people to display to, and only a few acts to perform, so it's better to get a lot of people on, so you've got a nice big crowd!

Okay, for now I'll say November 14th - plenty of time for everyone to prepare, and by then, hopefully, there'll be plenty of you willing to fly... ;D

I will (should be anyway) getting FSX when it comes out but I will not be removing FS9, too much stuff installed in it to just chuck it out. I still have all my sims (FS2K2, FS9, CFS2 twice and CFS3) installed. I would hope the airshow will be in FS9 as all my best add-ons, including all my best Warbirds, are for FS9 and not many work very well in the FSX demo.
Mid November should be OK for me but I will have to confirm closer to the date because of work.

I won't be getting FSX until I get a new PC, and that certainly won't be this year.

I would imagine that most Folks would have sufficient spare hard drive space to contain both FS 2004 and FS X, and select whichever one is required... ;D...!

As Hawker mentioned, I have a number of different flight sims installed on my hard drive, all with their Icons on my desktop which I select at will... ;)...!

November 14th - a weekday indeed?

I would have stuck with October 14th myself... ;)

I've got plenty up my sleave. I'll just need to fire up FS9 to remember which aircraft they are! ;D
