Got the planes. I'll probably use something default.

Downloaded Paul's flyer and I'm set to go. Haven't decided on a plane yet.

You may want to check out tss172sp.zip on flightsim.com for 150/172 sounds.

..be very careful with that little Cessna 150, Sean... :o...!

The 140+ knot turn of speed can easily catch you unawares and transport you to your destination much faster than you anticipated!..... :o...!

At least, mine does...I love the sound of her turbocharger when it cuts-in.... :-*... ;D....!

If you download the GBPLF paint from here, DO NOT use the c150 file that Pete linked it to in the description.

That is the older version of the plane, and it does NOT include the correct model files needed for the paint to display.

The only place you can get the correct file, c150_v2.zip, is here:
http://www.flightsim.com/file.php?cm=SE ... 150_V2.ZIP

I did include this info in my original version of the description text, but it was altered after I uploaded it.
I also included the correct file name needed in the readme inside the file, so hopefully, people will figure it out, while I work to get this problem corrected.

Once again, there is NOTHING wrong with the paint upload, it's just linked to the wrong plane.  ;)

The thing I like about much of the default aircraft, and some of the downloaded aircraft, is the ability to add ones own ATC (call-sign) registration details (and colour) to the fuselage and wings.....
....the default Beech Baron 58 being a classic example.
My own registration letters appear on my (Baron ) fuselage, and ATC use the same call sign for me!

Select Aircraft > ATC Name > Tail Number....

Of course, your own Registration details will not be visible to other Pilots in Multiplayer... :'(...!

Paul..G-BPLF...FS 2004..FS Nav...and a paint brush... ;)...!

How difficult is it to include this user facility during the aircraft design stage?

Paul, I'm not sure how it's done. I do know, however, that the old "Bill Lyons" aircraft maintained this feature.

As far as this flight goes, I will be using the payware Sibwings "SAAB Safir".
http://www.sibwings.com/fsmedia.php

Since I don't expect anyone here to actually own the aircraft, you can use the following as a placeholder during the online event.

se-iil_6.zip
@ flightsim.com  (I did not see it in SimV's system).

It has some model compatibility issues such as no pilot and no prop, but it's at least the same sort of aircraft that I will be using. I'll load into the session with this plane, and then once everyone arrives, will switch to the payware Sibwings model. That way, you guys will see a Safir model on the screen still.

So far I am still good to go for the event.

se-iil_6.zip @ flightsim.com

Installed the FS 2002 Version.

(The FS 2004 version is just "Textures only" for the Pay-ware version).

Paul.

A note of caution if you also have the NL2000 scenery installed:

The mesh from that addon will cause severe problems with the addons required for this trip, so make sure you disable it in your addon scenery list before flying.  ;)

The NL2000 (Netherlands) scenery mesh files,

makes these islands, and a giant chunk of Germany's coast, disappear underwater.  :o

It was quite odd to fly over the Islands, and see runways, and houses floating in the water...

I'm sure the dike operators were in quite a state of alarm!
;D ;D  ;)

Paul....Deutchland Uber Alles (Germany under water).... ::)....?

.... ;D... ;D...!

I take German, and wouldn't that mean "Germany over all?"

I think you could say, "Deutschland unter das See."

However, the Netherlands are not Germany.  ;)
