...did a practice run with the Default Bombardier Learjet 45 from LA (KLAX) to 'Frisco (KSFO), VOR/NDB to VOR/NDB...

Max Cruise speed 330 Knots before over-speed, (Mach 5.5).

Perfect ILS landing at San Francisco International Airport, runway 28R.

I could get used to this small private Jet for my longer, speedier flights in and out of the larger Airfields...;)....!

Paul...G-BPLF...FS 2004...and a can of Paraffin... ;)...!

Default scenery. I'll personally be using VOZ North textures as well, but nothing special for the airports.
So far so good for the departure time. I end work at 6pm so 7:30 should work out.

I have the default LAX enhancement that is located in the SimV libary (if I remember correctly) and the payware FlyTampa KSFO installed.

Will be flying the same Jon Murchison BAe 146-200 in the United Express / Air Wisconsin paint as the last time.

Are we going "direct", or should we plan a VOR / airway type route?

best,

...so...

Did any of you Chaps manage to fly the KLAX > KSFO route on Saturday evening?

I tried to stay awake, but by 1:30 AM GMT Sunday, (7:30 PM EST Saturday), I was tucked up safely on my cosy bed...snoring merrily!... :)...!

It was impossible to stay awake any longer!... :)....!

No, we're doing it tonight. ;)  So take your nap early Fozz. ;D You need to be bright eyed and bushy tailed for the trip. We can't have sleepy pilots in the air.

Don't know it this was common knowledge or not, but last night Lunitic and Skoker discovered that FS9 & FSX work together for online flying, with no apparent problems seeing each other. 8-)

You FSX'ers now have no excuse not to join us. ;)

...the only thing I have found in the past, during our mixed FS9/FSX Multiplayer flights, is that for some reason, the Airport/Airfield ground elevations seem to be either above, or below the ground, and the exact runway positions differ slightly, even with the default scenery!

..all O.K. in the air...some confusion on the ground...;)...!

Just got home, should be good to go in about a half hour.
I'll just be using the default Lear, default mesh, with VOZ North textures. Route: Airways.

Just got home too.  Just turned on the first of the simpit computers.

WHAT airways?  Do we want to share a routeing here so that all of us have the same thing programmed in?
