Frustrated would be a better description. I know you're trying to wind me up but it won't work. :P ;)
How our Chums in the US manage to communicate with each other is beyond me, when next-door neighbours, living in the same State, can have a different time on their wall clocks... Shocked...!
Three different Time Zones from East to West of the USA!
I don't see why that would be a problem. The USA is a huge country. It's the same as dealing with different time zones in Europe or Asia. Before retiring I used to telephone people all over the world with no trouble at all. That's where GMT comes in so handy as it's the same all over the world & never changes.
Hank and Dwayne both live in South Dakota*.
Hank has decided to go down the Pub.
He has previously arranged with his his good neighbour, Dwayne, just across the street, to meet him there.
The Pub is in Hanks Time Zone.
The time on Hank's wall clock is 8 PM.
He has previously arranged to meet Dwayne in the Pub at 8:15 PM
The time on Dwayne's wall clock is 7 PM, 'cos hes in a different Time Zone.
How do they both manage to join each other, at the same time, down at the Pub?
Does poor old Hank always have to get the Beers in an hour before Dwayne arrives each time?... :'(...!
F.
(Dwayne always cursed his Parents for his name, anyway).
