Remember, commercialised jets are the future, and arn't going anywhere.

They just fill the parking spaces at the airport then?

Crash ;)

DO IT! DO IT! Perhaps, since there are only 3 big jets that come with the game, and they are all Boeings, we should have people post some download links for everyone to DL and check out.  On a side note, what is the best 727 to DL? I really want to fly one, but I want the best possible, with autopilot settings and almost every feature in there; virtual cockpit preferred, but it's okay if it doesn't have it.
Don't let worries kill you, let the church help
A 747 is just traveling; A Piper Cub, now THAT'S flying!

No beef with big jets per se, but a tour in the FLs just doesn't seem very... I dunno... friendly. Chances are good you'll never catch sight of each other for more than a few minutes on such a tour... I mean, if piloting heavy jets in FS is supposed to be "just like the pros do it", you can't be forming up and sporting around... minimum legal spacings... IFR plans and clearances... yadda yadda.

Or maybe it will be more casual? Might be more fun, but if  these flights are anything as chaotic as the usual bug-smasher get-togethers, just lining up to take off will be verrry interesting indeed. :D

I think the best way to share the airline-pilot experience in MSFS would be to have the ability to put multiple players in the same plane, as a crew... that would be pretty cool.

But I might come along on one of these tours, if I can bring a fighter. ;D

Or I could be cajoled into joining with the VC-10; all you big-iron drivers should try Maltby's terrific model if you haven't already.
That would be fun: a flight of all VC-10s, with a short-field-landing comp at the end. ;D

I've no idea what sort of speeds and heights Commercial Passenger Jets fly at, but I would imagine that even my new Tucano Turbine Prop RAF Trainer* would have a hard time keeping up, constantly flat out at 300 knots... :o...?

What sort of heights and speeds would be involved in the flights...?

Paul.... 8-)...!
