Route:
Split (LDSP), Croatia
Directly to:
Sarajevo (LQSA), Bosnia and Herzegovina
Distance: 91 nautical miles
Aircraft:
Small singles/twins non-turboprop, or quick helicopters.
Speed limit for the trip: 120 knots
Simulation time: 7:30 am local departure time.
Sim Weather: "Cold Fronts" Theme
Server in use: SimV's (see stickies at top of forum)
NOTAMS:
If planning on attending, please try to arrive on the server no later than 5 minutes prior to departure.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE make sure you read the guidelines for port opening procedures for logging onto the Simviation mulitplayer server. These guidelines are located at the top of this multiplayer forum, and failure to comply with them can prevent the event from occurring.
Please adhere to the maximum flight speed of 120 knots while on this trip. I would prefer if we stick together in a very loose formation/group rather than having us all arrive at completely different times.
Suggested aircraft:
DC-3
Beech 58 "Baron"
Cessna 182
Mooney Bravo
Zlin Z-142
L-40 Metasokol
Let L-200
Eurocopter AS-365
Mil Mi-24
....and anything in that speed range
Suggested Scenery:
There are FS2004 compatible addon sceneries for both airports available for free. If you are seriously interested in obtaining them, and have not been able to find them on your own, let me know.
I am not aware if these sceneries are also supported in FSX.
For users of FSPassengers:
I do not own this program, but if you intend on using FSPassengers with this route, be aware that I believe the program marks Bosnian airspace as a "warzone" and you will likely suffer aircraft damage when approaching Sarajevo with this program in use. I recommend either disabling the warzone feature on this program, or not using this program with this online flight.
Finally, if you plan on attending this event, please post in this thread just so we can get an idea of how busy the server will be at this time.
I understand that real life can often spring up unexpectedly, but if you think you have a good chance of showing up, say so.
I tried to pick an interesting route that is "off the beaten path" , and I hope that you join in this weekend! These flights are always fun to do, and I hope that users new to the multiplayer experience will try this one!

Thanks!
