How to get the online working right?

Postby tcco94 » Sun Nov 02, 2008 12:21 pm

Okay well I know this question has been asked lots of times and I know theres a problem with GameSpy but I cant seem to ever get it to work. It will work FINE the first game then I leave and can never sign back it besides closing my game.

I know alot of people fly online but how you get past all this crap that isnt letting me in.  >:(

Thanks ;)

Avoid Gamespy. It's rubbish. Fly on the SimV server instead ;)

Take a look at the stickies a the top of this forum to learn more about what / how/ why.  With FSX you need a separate "interface" program to link FSX with the FSHost server.  It is not as simple as with fs2004.... but is still simple.

Okay thanks I tried to download FSClient or host whichever one it said to download and my computer isnt letting me. I run vista by the way. I tried the newest version also. When I download it the RUN, SAVE, or CANCEL comes up I click run it loads then disapears. I click save the whole thing closes..

How do I get it onto my computer do I need to restart my computer I thought it might of been like a firewall doing it :-?

For FShostClient questions, best to go to the ChocolateSoftware site for answers to questions directly from the horse's mouth.
