Multiplayer Problem

Postby uncleyuk » Tue Jan 15, 2008 10:57 pm

:D  I just started to try out multiplayer and encountered a problem.  I could get the session listed just fine but when I clicked to join the session FS9 froze along with my computer.  I'm running Vista Premium, on Broadband connection with Linksys.  The first time this happened I got a message saying it was blocked so I opted to unblock it and tried again to no avail.  Any suggestions?

Just make sure that you have exceptions for FS2004 for any third-party antivirus/firewall software, as well as the default Windows Firewall. Also check the security settings in your router.
Thats all I can do from here....

:-/  Just read that with a wireless broadband connection through a router I have to open a portal some way or the other.  It seems a little complicated for now so I'll just kick back until I can figure it out.
