Wild fires in SOCAL...

Time to wheel out my Cessna 182 to track and photograph the Wild fires raging in Southern California.

Might want to reconsider: 40-60 mph winds, severe turbulence, and all that smoke!!  
Looks like I got out of San Diego just in time...

I get these news flashes sent to me via E-Mail every day from the 'States, and I love picking up all these snippets of news from Cal; Earthquakes, Fires, Storms, Floods, etc; get one of my aircraft out of the Hangar and fly over the affected areas to appreciate the problems...;)...!

A couple of weeks ago it was the devastating fires around Lake Tahoe. I flew my Cessna 182RG from Sacramento to Lake Tahoe to explore the area, and take some screen shots!

A fascinating and useful Geographic Tool, is FS 2004...;)...!
(It's what I mostly use it for)...!
