Multiplayer issue...PLEASE help!!!

AS FOR THE ORIGINAL QUESTION, my dad and I figured it out.  The person who wants to JOIN and SHARE another players aircraft must have the "Allow others to share my aircraft" option turned OFF.  If you click this, the game assumes you want your very own aircraft to share, not that you want to be able to share someone else's aircraft (not a very clear option if you ask me).  The person who is doing the SHARING must have the option checked, of course.

Hope that helps whoever was wondering.  It worked for my dad and I.

I just do what the voices* tell me.  ;) But, thank you!  It feels good to solve a problem myself, as usually I am quickly outwitted by the more technically savvy members of the forum.

Of course, I usually call those voices ATC, but why I hear them outside the aircraft, too, is beyond me.  ;D
