Whey-hey.... :)...!

SOCAL...(Southern California).

Finally back home again... ;D...!!

This is a place that I have spent the past 10+ years daily! touring around, in my little Prop Planes, and populating most of the airfields/airstrips with my own scenery... 8-)...!

Looking forward to flying around some amazing scenery with all my Chums!... :)...!

Just to inform you, it clashes with the airshow tommorow evening. Bad timing, otherwise i would go, flying my A380 instead.

It probably won't clash with the airshow (and the tours have been going for a long time so its really the airshow clashing with the tour), we're usually finished by the start of the tour... I'll be there after the show.  8-)

.... ;)...

Just a gentle reminder of the tour "Rules"....>>>>

*********************
Tour Time: 8:00 P.M. GMT

Saturday August 11 2007

Propeller aircraft will only be used on this flight.

Flight Plan
GPS Heading, Speed 120 Knots, ETE 51min+

*************************************

You wont be very popular flying an Airbus A380..
..and trying to maintain an airspeed of 120 knots maximum... :o...!
..and attempting to land on a very short, grass/gravel airstrip, in the middle of nowhere!

Try a Default Cessna 172/182S...;)...!

..or if you REALLY want to go for the "Big Stuff", go for a Default Douglas DC-3.

There you go, so many choices of Default, General Aviation, Piston Prop Aircraft in your Hangar... [smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif]. ...!

Paul...G-BPLF...!

P.S. I bet the mention of a lowly Cessna 172 piston prop has put you off the Tour?... ::).... ;D...!

P.P.S. I think the Airshow starts at 5PM GMT whereas the Tour starts at 8PM GMT, so there's a 3 hour interval in between.
I know the organisers of the various Airshows, etc, are well aware of the week-end Tours, and take great care to avoid clashing with them...(thanks Lads!)...;)...!

Just as an extra warning, Chums....

Apart from the start KSEE, there are no more fuel pumps at any of the airfields/strips on the journey!!

So fill up your tanks, (and dump any un-necessary passengers at the start to lighten the load)... ;)...!

And NO Nav-Aids en-route, so it's all Map, compass, and GPS "stuff"....like in the good-old days!... ;)...!
