Why, oh why?

Can anyone tell me why microsoft shut down the multiplayer room? because i got fs04 AFTER the room was shut down, so i havent tried it yet. oh and theres also that slight inconvenience that the only reason i am even on the internet is that im hangin round after school because my dads a teacher, BECAUSE I DONT HAVE INTERNET AT HOME ANY MORE!!! that hurts a bit!

Can't remember why 'the zone' closed down anymore, but these days I make do with FShostspy to let me know who's on when & where, it's a free download that show's you who's on what FShost server & the details needed to join in.

The zone was shut down mainly because of lack of use, too much instability in the sessions, and the installation process [just to use a particular game in the zone] was rediculous. On top of that, many sessions in the zone tended to fill up too quick. Above all, many users found that it's better to go into the IP-based servers such as WSPilots' and SimV's servers; better stability, no need to install files to use the servers, and hosting a server got better since the introduction of FSHost.
