Switzerland tour

Postby Jakemaster » Thu Nov 24, 2005 9:37 pm

Well, while flying online with cspyro and ecko and tweek, I thought of a great Idea.  We do a UK tour and a US tour, both of which are fun, but, well, flat.  So I thought, how about something more challenging?  More exciting? More interesting?  So I thought about where, and said SWITZERLAND.

So I am beggining to arrange a swiss tour.  The whole point is for challenging flight to prepare us for plain old flying in an exciting way.  To be different and fun, the plane of choice will be the DC-3, as no one truly appreciates it, and it is fun to fly, and perfect for the mountains.

I will plan out the route at some point (probably start tommorow) and hopefully have the first flight next week/weekend

Also, I plan on using teamspeak, as it is much better than the chat window

But before the fun, I need input:

Would you be interested in flying?

What time shall we fly?  (keep in mind that I am in central us time, GMT-6)

What day shall we fly?

How long should a typical hop be?

Any other suggestions?

Hee hee me and you think alike Jake... ;D

I was planning the same idea, and i already have the dates etc out , and the special areas and events. BUt mine is slightly different, its mainly a Italian, switzerland and Austria tour, one big one!
Great idea as well, incorporate both ideas?..Dates etc can be displayed on the Simalive website for the users, and it could include a whole host of other ideas...

I dunno just an idea basically...

Cheers Jake,

Contact me by Pm if you want to discuss it further, or are interested...

Cheers.
