Connection Problem (HELP VERY APPRECIATED)

Postby Hai Perso Coyone? » Tue Dec 21, 2004 1:32 pm

Hi all,
Me and my friend wanted to have a mulitiplayer flight the other day. It was my first time since I had slow internet connection and i couldnt play. Now i have ADSL connection and it worth playing i think. I have never flown multiplayer in FS. So me and my freind decided to fly. He has flown a lot of times. I followed his instructions. He gave me his IP add. I typed in the IP address box. Oh by the way, I am running FS2002 Pro and he was using FS2002 stndrd. Does it make a difference? Anywayz, after i clicked "Search" nothing happened. I waited for a few minutes but nothing happned. My sim was still running and it didnt hang or anything. We tried the other way around but still no avail. We even went to Zone.com. It still didnt work.Again, he is using FS2002 stndrd and me Pro. Does tht make a difference. Please help as I have never gone Multiplayer flying and wish to do so in the very near future.  :(

Regards,
Ashar

I notice you're running Windows XP ......... It's probably the XP firewall thats causing the problem. Make sure its disabled..
