First time on multiplayer the other morning, and h

Well after much purswaiding of parents i convinced them to let me fly CFS2 online.

I thought that i'd fly with the VF15 squad since they where the only squad i know off and had a very good time.

After worries of stutters and bad FRs with a dail up modem i started flying with one of them to see if everything was working as it should, at this point i was actually getting LESS stutters . as the mornig went on and the rest of the squad turned up my FRs still stayed steady and around 50 .

Well it was pretty univentful untill i started to get shot at by one of the squad due to teh fact they didn't read the chat messages that went acrros the screen (he and the rest of the squad had mics and i didn't so i used chat) so i ened up with a few holes in my wings.

Even though i stayed up to 1am UK time i had a blast till i finaly went to bed at 9am after no sleep.

It was simple and easy to join. Get the ip, type it in and click join.  

The thing thats puzzeling me though is how i managed to get less stutters online than i do off line   Is there anyway to make CFS2 have a max frame rate thingi like FS2002 and FS9 have? I doubt there is but theres no harm in asking.

You can adjust frame rates in CFS2 but there is no "Unlimited" setting. They adjust in range from 20 to 45 fps.

This is located in Settings/Advanced Settings/Image Quality.
Look down in the lower right.

This setting only tells your computer when to start knocking out the extra stuff in order to maintain at least that frame rate that you set.

If you have a good card and system, you will see your fps way up there no matter what you set the LOD target frame rate at.
