online flight

Postby Raz » Wed Feb 04, 2004 1:33 pm

Hi everybody:
I've been a fsimmer for a few years now, but I've never figured out online flight.  Can somebody tell me what to do to in order to get online?  Any help is appreciated.  Thanks
Raz

You can head to the zone (www.zone.com) for a quick and fun free flight, or you can take it to the next level with virtual airlines and/or live air traffic control.

Check us out at www.hyperionairways.com if you're interested!
Great edit, Bob.

Google it.

Hi Raz ,

A friend and I recently figured it out ourselves .   I can possibly help a little .  I am pretty new to the computer world so my knowledge is quite limited .

The best way if you want to just fly with friends is to download a program called FSHost. This acts as an independent server for the game and minimises system lag, DON'T use the FS mode built into 2k2, it makes your machine slower than an arthritic snail!
If you just want to try MP then vatsim is the place to try, real ATC and everything 8)
Have fun whichever way you plan on doing things ;)
