Appalachian Scenery and more

Postby RHB » Sun Jun 15, 2014 10:10 pm

Hi just posting a link to my new Scenery site featuring mostly VFR airports around PA and NY and south into the Appalachian range. I have, and continue to add every week, glider fields such as Harris Hill, and Elmira KELM.

Fantastic!

...many thanks!

Although I mostly "fly" the Pacific West Coast, mainly for its varied scenery; coast, mountains, deserts, etc, I must give your excellent Atlantic East Coast scenery a try, for a change!

I'll bring my home-made Appalachian Dulcimer with me, and play some tunes, en route!!

Thanks Fozzer, If you want to try your hand at slope soaring at Eagle field and Ridge Soaring, set the wind (you will need the cumulus X addon) from the northwest at about 10-17 knots, and do some slope soaring. It's a free addon.

Hi All;
I just published three new small airports for Norteastern PA and Upstate NY. Two are now abandoned airports but were once pleasant local airports where countless students learned to fly. Warrington PA 8N9, and The Blue Swan N32 in Sayre PA, The third is a tiny private strip in Bath NY used as a Sailplane waypoint when flying from Harris Hill, (another of my creations).
Have fun!

Warrington airfield, and The Blue Swan airfield.

(They only appear in your "Blog").

Many thanks...

they are all published here today, I don't have server space yet to host files. Probably it will take a day to have them approved and up here. But I could and will put links on my web page once there up. its a great idea.
Edit: just checked there uploaded here now. there on the opening page under new files right now.

Got them, Jon!

Trouble is, I tend to make my Sim V home page the Forum Page, so I often miss important messages on the main Sim V Home page!.... :cry: ...!

I sometimes assume that the new item message on the Forum Page will also contain the links to the downloads.... ;) ...!

...silly old me!.... :D ...!
