HJG - 4th Anniversary Website Update !

Celebrating its 4th anniversary of service to the international FS community ...the new HJG (Historic Jetliners Group) have pleasure announcing its 1st website update for 2010... featuring new and upgraded B707, B720, B727, BAe 146, CARAVELLE, DC8, and DC9 files for FS2004 and FSX.

New HJG textures for Vistaliners B727's include...

3 variations of 1960's and 70's livery ...including the original 1966 delivery version... for a major Colombian airline; 4 variations of 1970's and 80's identity for a US operator from "The Last Frontier" ...among which a 1981 hybrid scheme for an aircraft leased from a major US operator is also represented; 3 variations of early 1990's color scheme for a large but no longer existent international/domestic carrier from Mexico ...among which the attractive 1995 scheme for an aircraft used by this carriers tourist/holiday subsidiary is included; The mid 1970's era livery of a major "Hellenic" airline; And a US registered corporate aircraft from more recent times ...for the early production B727-100.

For the late production B727-100 ... the mid 1980's identity of an operator from the Himalayas region.

Another 2 variations of mid 1970's color scheme for a US carrier from "The Last Frontier"; And a rare hybrid livery for an aircraft used by a major Colombian airline during the early 1970's ...for the convertible B727-100C.

And for the early production B727-200 ...the early 1990's identity of a Mexican tourist/charter operator.

The late 1980's color scheme of a Serbian tourist/charter carrier; A major "Hellenic" airline represented by 2 variations of 1980's livery; A selection of 21 variations of "different" cultural identity for a major Mexican operator and the 1990's; 2 variations of recent color scheme for a tourist/charter carrier from Mexico; And 2 variations of recent and attractive turquoise/purple/white livery for a Bolivian airline ...for the ADVANCED B727-200.

For ADVANCED B727-200 RE SUPER 27's ...2 variations of recent identity for a Mexican tourist/charter operator; The recent color scheme of a long established US travel club;
And the livery of a now longer existent Georgia based US low fare and charter/leisure carrier also from more recent times.

The current identity of a major US based international freight airline ...for the ADVANCED B727-200F RE SUPER 27 freighter.

New textures for ARNZ BAe 146's include...

The recent color scheme of a prominent European based inter-city operator ...for the BAe-146-300.

And for BAe 146-300 QT's ...2 examples of early 1990's livery featuring both UK and Swedish divisions of an international air freight carrier. 

New textures for HJG DC8's include...

The colorful and late 1960's identity of a classic/historic German tourist/charter airline ...among which the aircraft leased by a French airline during the early 1970's is also represented in an equally colorful hybrid scheme ...both for the DC8-30.

AND AT LAST... the final installment of HJG's new DC9 flightline is now available ...featuring the DC9-10 in both PAX and freight configurations... represented by the following selection of classic/historic airline textures...

2 variations color scheme ...including the 1966 delivery version... for a major but no longer existent classic/historic US international operator; 3 variations of 1960's and 70's livery ...including the delivery version... for a major Dutch carrier; The mid 1960's identity of a major airline from Switzerland. Both 1970's and 80's variations of color scheme for a prominent Spanish tourist/charter operator; 4 variations of historic 1970's and 80's livery for a major Mexican carrier; The early 1970's identity of a prominent international airline from Nordic regions; The mid 1970's color scheme of a Netherlands-Antilles based operator; Both 1980's and 90's variations of livery for a prominent UK based carrier; The extremely rare early 1990's identity for an aircraft used by a major classic US airline from history; And one of the few "Micro 9's" to remain in service until recent times featuring the color scheme of a prominent US Midwest based express operator ...all for the new HJG Dc9-10.

And for the new HJG DC9-10CF/F/RF ...a single livery representing the early 1980's identity for the cargo division of a prominent Nordic international carrier.

New textures for HJG's other previously established DC9's include...

A corporate aircraft operated by a world famous US enterprise during the early 1970's; Both 1970's and 80's variations of identity for a major Swiss airline; 3 variations of color scheme for a major operator from the Netherlands covering the 1970's and 80's; Both 1970's and 1980's variations of livery for a private Dutch carrier; The attractive and colorful early 1970's identity of a classic German tourist/charter airline; 7 variations of historic color scheme for a major operator from Mexico covering the 1980's until more recent times; Both 1970's and 80's variations of livery for a prominent Spanish tourist/charter carrier; 2 variations of mid 1980's identity for the subsidiary division of a major Swiss airline ...among which an aircraft leased to another prominent Swiss airline is also featured; Both 1980's and 90's variations of color scheme for a prominent UK based operator; And the mid 1980's livery of a major carrier from Western Europe ... all for the DC9-30.

For the DC9-30CF/F/RF ...all 3 variations of 1970's and 80's identity for a major Dutch airline; Both 1970's and 80's variations of color scheme for a private operator from the Netherlands; And a livery for the subsidiary division of a major carrier from Switzerland and the early 1980's.

A prominent Nordic international airline is once again represented by 3 variations of livery covering the 1980's until more recent times ...for the DC9-40.

And for the DC9-50 ...both 1970's and 80's variations of identity for a major Swiss operator; The early 1980's color scheme of a major Western European carrier. And 3 variations of livery for a prominent Nordic international airline and covering the mid 1980's until more recent times .

Work on the new HILMERBY/HJG series of DC9 panels is also now nearly complete ...slotted for release any time soon !

New HJG textures for AFG CARAVELLE's include...

6 examples of 1960's and 1970's variations of identity for a prominent Scandinavian airline and featuring aircraft operated by each of 3 nations represented by this major alliance ...for both CARAVELLE 1 and CARAVELLE 3.

Work on the new CARAVELLE 10R (-10B3) is also nearing completion and release very soon too !

And last but by no means least of all...

HJG's ongoing commitment to perfection and product enhancement continues in the form of the following texture upgrades...

All 8 remaining examples of the colorful/attractive 1980's AEROCONDOR COLOMBIA liveries for B707-120B, B707-120BF (freighter), and B720-B have each now been upgraded to even greater levels of authenticity ...thanks to the dedication of Camilo LUENGAS R.

May i suggest you describe your site and also a few of your recent downloads here?


I'd be glad to "JAKESF14" .... but .... I kind of don't like to barge-in on other FS websites (if you get what I mean) in relation to HJG PR .... unless invited to do so by the site managers or are relatively closely acquainted with them :-/

"IF" you care to .... or ..... have the authority to do so .... then would you like to consider make a copy & paste of my above announcement and posting it "THERE" on our behalf .... and maybe, yourself, tell folk there a little of what you know about HJG and what we do.

That may be a more acceptable/preferrable arrangement ! :)
