my site for student pilots

A while ago (2 years ago) I started going to flight school and decided to write a flight training diary ... to keep a record of my lessons.

it was hard work but it was worth it.

I created a forum 2 years ago at

http://www.thepilotlounge.com

where I started writing my diary. It was only me back then.

In less than 2 years the forum grew from me ... to 200+ members with at least 10 people writing their own flight training diaries.

I think that my forum is proving to be very helpful to people that are struggling with the flight training process (and believe me, while it's fun, it's also quite a challenge to learn how to fly that often brings you to question your own ability to EVER make it through).

Great resource for people that are not pilots but are interested into starting flight training eventually ... or owning a plane eventually, and have questions to ask.

lots of helpful folks around!

We even have a flight instructor, several commercial pilots and an airline pilot (flies 777s) willing to answer questions!

Umm, I've already done the whole toilet brush as a tooth brush thing... can I still go on your site?

Sure! That's more of a "guideline", not really a "strict" rule ...

;D ;D ;D ;D
