On a Geforce 4 MX440 I wouldn't even run FS9, you're a lunatic.

I think your the Lunatic because the Geforce 4 MX440 can run Fs9 and it Runs FSX better than most cards because it doesnt support all the DX9 Features 8-)

I don't think 3the 8m Terrain Mesh for the Alps by Raimondo Taburet covers the Ravenna area.
Not bad, though, it goes to show that apparently FSX can produce decent looking static screenies in non-populated areas with outdated hardware.

Main areas in FSX that are graphically improved over FS9 seem to be complex cities, lighting effects, reflective water and heavy autogen trees and buildings. Without them it looks like my FS9 with Voz and some decent terrain mesh. But, yeah, nice!

Sure looks a lot better than FS9 default (but it suffices the Ground Environment non-Pro and FS9 find itself on a even keel looking and WAY faster and smoother). And the little fact that it's ran on a Mx440 is... singular and oddly pleasant. :P

It's pleasant in fact to know that my FX6600GT only got 3~4 FPS more than it's ancestor on the same situation and software. Helps me keep FSX away and out of my mind. >:(

And then there's the odd one that asks "Why don't you use FSX, it's awesome". Brother (or sister, depending) dearest, the only thing awesome in FSX are the hardware demands. :(

Can't really place the last pic. I know the Ravenna neighborhood quite well, both real and virtual (FS9) and still can't really remember anything like that mountainside, where is it? :-?

I'm guessing it's a terrain glitch. I'm not sure whether it's caused by either the newly installed mesh or if it's part of the default mesh. If it is, then thank god it's there because it looks like a good place to test my Hummer. ;D

On an unrelated note, instead of FSX and just because we're about x-mas, I've reinstalled FS98 for a little retrogaming from time to time instead of FS9. :D

I'm blown away from the speed and smoothness, the little HD, RAM and videocard requirements and the WIDE availability of add-ons. SO SIMILAR to FSX. ;D

Do any of you want me to upload some fresh FS98 screenshots? The best graphics among simulators only the day before yesterday. ;)
