https://earth.nullschool.net/Zoom in and take a look-see. There's Hurricane Irma swirling out there with a well defined eye, and you can see remnants of Harvey.
We now have to watch Irma closely, it's already a nasty, powerful storm, and forecast to gain in strength as it moves west. Another strike,
anywhere, following Harvey, could mean another disaster.

Thanks for the link, now added to my favourites. It looks like there's a biggish one just to the south of Japan.
Cheers

Indeed...most interesting! Thanks for posting that, saved in my favorites as well. Watched it for 10 minutes and it had me almost in a trance...of course at my age I'm in one most of the time.

This will provide a day to day tracking of Hurricane Irma. If you study the air currents, you can see its projected path as they change over time. Right now, Irma is projected to move toward Puerto Rico, then take a turn northward, maybe going up the east coast but out to sea a bit, or maybe striking S Florida or else where up the coast. We don't yet know which. There are other computer path projections online here and there which give tracking lines, but this one is kinda like you can be your own weather forecaster, which makes it unique.
At this time, the concern of Irma, especially following Harvey, should be uppermost in mind to anyone living along the east and gulf coasts. We see it a long way off, but this one is powerful and will gain strength as it moves westward.

Just been watching Irma developments on the BBC, truly scary and it looks like there's another following in her footsteps Jose is building strength.

I was just thinking to myself, as I stood at the edge of the road just outside of my house, wondering what it must be like to experience the powerful Suzuki Hayabusa 1000cc Motorcycle hurtling down the road before me at the 185 MPH, the speed of the Irma Hurricane wind!
It's difficult to imagine that sort of wind speed and force!
Seems to be heading for the West, Gulf Coast of Florida now (Tampa).
Scary stuff!
Paul.
