Fly the Competition

FSXMissionsHangar.com is sponsoring a flight competition. In their mission, South Florida Frenzy, you will be flying the Beech Baron from Key West to Miami, Florida, USA. The time is about 60 minutes, but you will likely fly it faster, since that's the objective. The fastest time will get his/her choice of Dovetail Games' Flight Sim World or $25 credit toward Pilot Supplies of your choice... or you can simply "let it ride" and brag about it!
There are 3 stops along the way with plenty of challenges to test your piloting skills. If in doubt, you should fly the Baron along the route in free flight before attempting the mission, because ONLY a single FIRST flight entry is allowed. Post a screenshot of "Flight Results" tab following your first flight. One of our Administrators/Moderators will immediately hide your entry until the competition is completed, and then the winner will be announced, along with all flight results. Competition begins 8/1/2017 and ends 9/30/2017. A $5 donation is required, which goes toward support and promotion of flight simulation, such as this. This donation also covers 1 year membership at the Resident level, which gives you unlimited access to all the site downloads and other features. Come join us at FSXMissionsHangar.com.

Wow. A 'kiddie' game for $5. Why not have 10 'levels' (at $5 a level) and get rich (which this post helps if for). And you only get to do it ONCE? But I guess you COULD register 10 times (under 10 different names at $5 a name) and have a better chance of 'winning'. My FSX just got complicated and annoying. So has my life.

FSXMissionsHangar.com is a non-commercial, non-profit, MEMBER OWNED site devoted solely to the promotion of flight simulation. Every dollar donated is accounted for and the books are available for member review at all times. We’ve sponsored competitions in the past and given back to our membership E6B flight computers, Aviation books, donations in their name, and multiple copies of Dovetail Games Flight Sim World. The mission in question, South Florida Frenzy, was developed as a collaborative effort by 4 of our members and took over a month to build. We have over 70 other High Quality missions that are available ONLY to our SUPPORTING members, but hundreds of Freebies available to everyone who registers. Ownership is commensurate with contributions… monetary, intellectual and service. We feel that something special should be available to those who actively support flight simulation and not just consume it… that’s our philosophy! I apologize to all whom this may offend, but what have you done lately to promote flight simulation? The answer to that question is likely the reason FSX is still the best sim on the market, in spite of its antiquity.
