What to eat? OR What did I just eat? British food.

When I was about 6 and 7 years old, I lived in Weston-super-Mare not far from the Grand Pier.

I just have to say that it was a wonderful place and time.

But there is a lot that a small boy hears & sees but doesn't understand.

And food is one of them.

I'm not all that sure what I did eat, but for a while we lived in a boarding house (and I'm not certain that a "boarding house" here is the same as a "boarding house" there).

That's a long way of saying that I have had English food daily, but don't recall it.

Getting to the point - For anyone interested here in the US, you can get some English home style food in the US.

What a wonderful array of typical British Food!

Typical of what I use, and cook, every day of the week, and very unlike any American meals that I observe!

Have a peek at "Gravies, Sauces, and Condiments" for an example of what makes our meals so tasty!

...and, (as a right-hander), we always hold the knife permanently in the right hand, and the fork permanently in the left hand...

...and NEVER change hands, to use the fork as a shovel!.... ...!

Ta, OAM!.....very interesting!
