I've been trying to reach the SOH website for two days now. Any idea what's going on?

Problem seems to be temporarily solved.

It's still down.

At least there is a screen now that refers you to their back-up forums. Before there was nothing besides an error message.

Glad to hear it. I'm still getting a list of error messages.

Seems like the Flight Sim Community is being Targeted for some reason ??

Moderator of Avsim had a posting up last week, where they are now tracking peoples IP Addresses and post them and their names in a Special forum who are able to CLOG DOWN the site with Bogus log in's, constantly and post Spam to try to slow or freeze up the site.

and on here this site, it seems almost weekly now for the past several months, some PHONY ***wipe with a bogus user name is posting tons of Spam.

I tried reading some of those spam messages, it almost appears its some kind of coded secret message that only the other party would underatand,, none of it makes any sense????

Yup! Sounds like the same thing that happened last time the system went down. Guess the nut balls have nuthin better to do but spoil it for everyone.

I've been robbed at gun point twice.

Assaulted and robbed once.



My wife and I have been subjected to credit card fraud about 7 times.

We now have to actively prevent dissemination of our SSN, DOB, and credit card numbers.

We have to tell the credit reporting agencies that NO WE DO NOT WANT A CREDIT CARD IN OUR NAME FROM TUNISIA OR LIBYA OR BELARUS.


Once this type of information gets out, it's traded around the world through the internet.

When I buy something nowadays, I uses a debit card from a different bank than the one my paycheck goes into. I put the needed amount of money in that bank just before I make the purchase over the internet.

The scum on the internet are a bigger threat to me, than the few people who walked up to me and robbed me in person.


My point being; these people are intentionally destroying others without any care. They should be treated the same way.

There are a lot of Siberia gulags being under utilized. Lets pay the people over there to house the scum in Siberia for 20 years or so.

That's a win-win solution. We get a better world, and the people in Siberia get employment.

What gets me, and really gets me heated, is what Google & YOU TUBE have done since Google purchased YOU TUBE few years ago.

Everything was fine before Google took em' over.

then, they come up with this Ignorant insane idea, that YOU TUBE users need to use their "REAL NAME" !

Yet now get this, their own web site, used to say, don't know if it still does,,, that DO NOT put any personel information on the site that could more less come back to cause you problems.

Now why would I want every idiot out there in LaLa land to even see who I was use my real name,,, are they joking, I cpould still make up a Phony Name , like "Phony Balony", and it wouldn't know the difference anyway, their preying on Naïve unsuspecting idiots out here, who basically can't think and actually believe all that stuff,,, well the web site says I have to use my real name,,, OMG, how a web site gonna know who you really are ?

A user could enter "Throttle Quadrant", and it ain't gonna know any different , its just type to the computer.

Now in the future if they start EYE Retina Scans to be able to log into a web site or be on the computer that might be a different story.

should that happen - I won't have the internet or be on line cause I won't give a rats Azz,,by then anyway.

Everybody needs to think a bit more before putting stuff on the internet, and leaving the door wide open to become a victim of fraud !!

I don't and never did that stupid facebook or Twitter BS, I thought it was stupid when it started and now its even worse .

I like to watch videos and make videos,,, so you tube and the other 5 video sites are about all I really do,, and I'll never put my real name out there , I mean I'd be Laughed at if somebody found out,,, that my real name was - Dummy

First of all, I don't see the problem with using your own name on YT of FB or where ever. There are probably more people with the same name. Second, what has this rant to do with SOH being down?
