Interesting, I have never commented on Youtube, but I read the comments. I am thinking the powers that be, have had enough of the complaints they get from active users about rude and insulting replies.

They aren't getting rid of the comment section, only the rarely used video response system which I have never used or understood.

It is the comments section that needs reworking. The abuse and language is quite colourful. Why there is not a bad language filter is beyond me. Also the blatant abuse from people hiding behind a computer, (wearing pink fluffy slippers waiting for mummy to bring them sandwiches, with the crusts cuts off) is quite evident

perhapps the 000000000,0000,000001 percent uses "Video Responses
what they should do its to veryfy MORE the sing in or accounts ,and make them to be over 18 YO a lot of trolls

youtube has become very important in my country where is not longer free media neither in cable or satelite ,they are all summited by the represive regime ,this is the only way we can know the thruth of what really going on ,along to many other sources that uses internet to transmit by stream media the reality of what's going on..
