Hey guys. I seem to have an issue with registering at Sim-Outhouse. I put my yahoo email in because that's the only email I have, and it says the administrator has banned the email address. Can I have some help? Thanks in advance!

-Jake :)

Same thing happened to me Jake. If you use google or other E address G mail or whatever you'll get in. I didn't bother to change my ways, however.

...something rings a bell..

I have an idea that because of annoying "Spammers", one or two Sites have refused to accept certain E-Mail addresses where you cannot easily be identified.
It is recommended that you use an Internet Service Providers E-Mail address which can be traced and verified.

..its the War against Spammers/Hackers!

Well, no matter what their isp and benign intent, that kind of discriminates against Imogene Bea Spammer and Isaac M. Hacker, doesn't it? >:( ;)

Taken from their site directly

.... Due to changes forced upon us by hackers, spammers and problems we have received from members with anonymous email addresses such as yahoo, hotmail and gmail in the past we were forced to ban these types of addresses for registration purposes. Do you not have an email address issued by your Internet Service Provider? .....

I did register with a yahoo address, but that was before this was implemented, and I simply emailed the admin and got my account approved when I lost my logon info. Unfortunately now, you need an isp address.

If you are registered with Orange as your ISP, your should be able to set up an E-Mail address with them.

My Broadband ISP is TalkTalk, but I use Orange (Freeserve) as my E-Mail provider....It works very well.

With a number of isp changes, only my hotmail account has been kept valid and used over the past decade; I don't recall and haven't checked what I used as an e-mail address for signing into simviation (I long ago forgot my sign-in with sim-outhouse, let alone the now defunct e-mail address).

P.S I have no Idea what the above jokes mean.

Seems the understanding of many of today's youth is lost to abbreviated humor/humour... :(

No promises, but NetZero provides (or atleast USED to provide, think they still do) free dialup service for up to ten hours a month. You might register for the email address, and skip the service all together...

Edit: Yup still free for ten hours a month...
