True
I mean I love my pc to death but the games for the ps3 look very very good. There just seems to be alot happening in the games which would grind the latest graphic cards to a hault.

Meh.
Console processors are terrible. Sorry but both Microsoft AND Sony both messed up with the processors. First, the IBM Power PC will deliver 1/3rd the performance of a Pentium 4 for the same clockspeed. That means the Xbox is as fast as a 3.2ghz Pentium 4, however, it has three cores. So it's like a tri-core 1.06ghz Pentium D.
Now, how many games are perfectly coded for three cores? One, or None?
RAM anyone? Games like Crysis need more than 512mb of RAM. Hell, Quake 4 uses 512mb of VRAM just for textures!
Video cards are pretty fast. Though, I still have no idea why they didn't implement D3D10 features. (Renember that Unified shaders is NOT Direct X 10).
At the end of your day, you get what you pay for.
