New freeware Canberra bomber! (Betting this post will wobble around between this and the other sites board. Figured it may actually be seen if posted here.)

Looks like a very detailed release.

Ok. Likes:

Nice model.
Textures look good.
Pretty good looking VC.
Cool startup effects.
Nice soundset.
Lots of animations.

Needs work:
Startup effects are assigned to both the light and the smoke sections of the aircraft.cfg file. I see what they were trying for, but it doesn't quite work. (I'll be changing this in mine)

Landing light effect is assigned to use Shockwaves 3D lights.(fx_Shockwave_landing_light_low) This is cool if you have them, not so much if you don't. (Won't hurt anything if you don't have them installed.)

One of the models won't load. (T.17) Model and textures are missing from the download. Open the "Canberra_B2_early" aircraft.cfg and hash out the [fltsim.2] entry to temporarily correct.

Negatives aside, imho, this is a great freeware model, and well worth the download! Think I'll keep it around a while. 8-)
