Flight Tracking

http://flightaware.com/ allows you to see the last filed flightplan of what seems to be any civilian aircraft in the US.  If you register (it's free), you can see a history of the filed flights in the last 4 months.  It's really interesting to see where all those renters have been flying, and where your little airplane has been. ;D

I had installed the software from the site 6 months ago which gave old flight records the orgnial real time software is pretty expensive and it covers only US and parts of EU.

I bet it's not updated, or a delay update is included, because if terrorist had the option of Real "live" there may be a prob. Other then it's really interesting, going to look up the flights out of Aera 51!. ;D

No, it's quite accurate.  Yesterday, I saw a CJ2 on approach to the airport I fly out of, and I was able to go check and see where they were coming from, their flight track, where they've been that last couple of days, and much more, including that they are within a minute of landing at 10:59am at KCLE right now. :)
