AVSIM Downloads

There seems to be a problem downloading AVSIM files.Anyone having problems too?

I had the same problem.
Try changeing your cache settings. First clear your cache, then set it to save 0 or 1. And if you use a firewall turn it off.
After I did this the files downloaded fine. This works in Netscape. So it should also work in IE.
But who uses IE?

Actually, alot of people use IE but I use Avant Browser, but more to the point, I had this problem and the whole clearing cache thing worked for me, but I didn't need to turn off my firewall!

id say 80 percent of people use IE i have uses opera for a bit but returned to IE after a comp crash and used it since....i am having trouble downloading from all sites at the moment... it does not come up with the save file screen but instead jsut starts the download as if it were a page opening so i have no idea when the download is complete until it opens from the temp folder of windows.... if your unsure what i mean please ask i can explain in depth

I had this problem after inadvertantly pressing the "always ask before opening this file" box. I solved this by right clicking the download link and selecting "Save target as". The next time I clicked to download it came up with the usual screen with the box re-checked.
