We're a virtual airline, but what makes us different than the hundreds of other VA's is that we were established by four founders, none of which have ultimate authority over the airline. This executive board requires a majority vote on all airline decisions, preventing us from becoming a dictatorship like so many others.
Also, we're different in our history. All of the board members have a diverse history with the aviation industry. Some of us have worked for real world airlines, giving us a very interesting insight into commercial industry. Others have extensive knowledge of the virtual industry.
It's this blend of reality and virtuality that makes Hyperion the unique organization that it is.
We're relatively new, but we're expanding very rapidly.
