Any MSN users in the house?

Postby BLAZE » Sun Jul 28, 2013 4:21 am

I just have a simple question, has your MSN browser suddenly changed on you like it did me?

I mean, Did your MSN sign in window become different all of a sudden? I just need to know if
its them or (God Forbid) a virus of some sort.

Thanks a bunch
Dwayne

P.S. I just got promoted to 1st lieutenant. 8-) All 2nd lieutenants.. When I say jump.. You say how high!

What's changed is that I'm blocked from entering my hotmail account without supplying my telephone number to get a code to do so. Since I can only access the internet via a public computer (like now), I can't do this.
Essentially, I now I have no e-mail account.

Yaaa ,, I had one of those stupid pop up windows too,,, come up just the other night .

I'll be Damned if I'm going to supply them my Telephone number just to have an EMail account !!!

Funny - I've had an MSN Email address since 2003 and it was never a problem, Never needed to supply them a telephone number or any other BS, other than a valid EMail address !

Also Google is pulling the same BS , along with YOU TUBE recently !

Also, tho I never did have a stupid FACEBOOK account - recent news is saying that FACEBOOK is now again changing their privacy rules, that says : YOU the user AGREE to whatever FACEBOOK decides at any time, including and up to, using YOUR PHOTO / PHOTOS for advertising promotional purposes to help FACEBOOK make / Generate more Revenue for them - at YOUR Expense with NO Compensation to YOU what so ever !!!

I would say, I dunno' whats goin on here ??

BUT Yes I do know whats goin on here, it was talked about a Decade ago,, once these companies got everybody all plugged into this Techno BS, this would happen,,,, and you'll either be Forced to play their game their way, or , be left out in the cold !!

Meaning YOU WILL Agree to anything they dream up, even if its NOT to your liking or advantage or profitable to you, YOU will Agree to basically Give up All your Privacy in every way shape and form, rather you like it or NOT !!

They claim they have things on their web site that enable you to enhance your Privacy settings,,, just another "Feel-Good" scenario who actually believe that BS, they want the Naïve to believe, because - they said so - so- it must be TRUE - they say so !!!

Google - MSN - Yahoo all of em are now seeking more and more Personel Information about YOU !!!

What will truly become of all this down the Road ???

We'll soon see in about another 3 to 5 Years give or take, it probably won't be good, and none of us will like it !!

I'm just NOT going to be Naïve and assume it will be OK to provide them with that information, it ain't happinin - Notta !!!

I've about had enough of all this personel information data BS for the simplest of things !

You think, we were asking for Access into the Federal Reserve Bank Vault or Fort Knox or something, its got outta hand, and becoming more Ridlicious everyday !

Won't take much more for me to unplug this computer and whip out my .357 Magnum and take shots at it for Target Practice, if this keeps up !

the rest of ya can do whatever ya wanna do,, play their ignorant game, go into it with your blinders on,,, whatever, but i'm NOT stooping that low, theres NO need in all this, wasn't needed in the past, and its NOT needed now either !

Just too much Corporate and Government intrusion, as far as I'm concerened !!

Not sure about MSN, but if it affects your email, try downloading windows live...it's fast, easy and creates an icon on your desktop...no more fumbling around through your browser. There are no fancy add-0ns like outlook has. It is really just your basic email service.

I have always been locked onto my particular E-Mail supplier (Freeserve) to make sure of retaining my personal E-Mail address since the 1990's.

If I changed to another supplier, it would also change my personal E-Mail address, and I would have to inform everyone in my address book of the change!
I never want to have to do that!

Yes.
I needed to change it all once, when i went from XP/Outlook express and into Win7! That is a long time ago!!

Its a question of choosing the right one from the start, and not "mingeling" around O0

As for a phone number, just look in the phone book for a Laundromat or a mortuary and give them that number. If they catch the grift.. they already know too much.

doesn't work that way,,, they want you to provide a phone number then they call you back with a secret code you have to enter into a special box to regain access to your email account

without the code no access

so giving them some random number,,, you won't get the automated call back,,,,

and no its "Microsoft",, not some hacker or scammer

ridlicious is what it is,,,,,,

I went to their community forum board and went off bout' a week ago,,,,

guess it pissed em' off - GOOD !!!

Wait till my YOU TUBE VIDEO Comes out,, that'll really make Microsoft madd - GOOD !!!!

I'm with you Jet. M$ thinks their feet don't stink. Boy, what an odor! I use(d) MSN as my home page and whenever I try to access it the message says the page "can't be found". Fortunately my computer has IE, Firefox, and Chrome. I can still get my hotmail account thru Chrome fortunately, however Gmail and Excite are looking better more and more. Seems to me I've heard the phrase "Arrogance comes before the Fall" more than once. Well M$, we can hope.

Jim

few Months ago, I called up in Renton Washington Microsofts Corporate office,,, I wanted to speak to somebody higher up in the Phony Microsoft Empire, and their Receptionist who answered the phone was NOT only extremely rude, but also very arrogant, like she could careless who was calling Microsoft.

I could of been the POPE, or her maker, GOD for that matter, she didn't give a rats ass,,, basically, she hung up because she had other calls coming in, I never did get to ask my Question ???

Their Microsoft Tech Support once recently, tried to charge me that 99.00 tech Fee,,,,,

I told them I had no problem with that - BUT - since your charging me 99.00 to fix your problem,,,, and that's costing me MY Time, and MY Time is just as Important as your Time,,

I'll need to Charge YOU, Microsoft for MY Time at $275.00 an Hour for MY Time,, and I have a Miniunum of 4 hours, for MY Time.

I then explained further my rates,

My Attorney, which I keep on Retainer, charges me 375.00 an hour plus other related expenses, copies of documents, phone calls, Investigations etc.

So, I feel MY Time is also Important, just as theirs is and YOURs at Microsoft, so is mine !

I'll be needing a Billing Address for accounts recievables to send MY Bill of $ 1100.00 and or a Company Credit Card number to process this before we can begin,,,

Hang on' I'll have to get my Supervisor, (ya crawl you weasel).

after bout' 5 minutes, the Bozo' Microsoft Techno- Nerd from the Phillipinees Call center comes on and says :

Thank You, have a Nice Day - Click, phone went dead ! :o :shifty: :hand: :naughty: :?

Well, so much for True Loyalty or Customer Service out of Microsoft -

Attention All real World Pilots, please Empty your Sewage Tanks over the Phillipines and the Corporate Offices in Renton Washington USA, over their Microsoft Campus,,, give them a good dose of what their giving us !!

it starts with an S - and ends with a T !!!

I'm done with Microsoft anything,,,, no more !!!
