Military Flight Simulation Project

Postby SF_DELTA_T_AVIATION » Wed Jan 16, 2008 6:09 pm

SF DELTA T, the worlds largest Military Simulation paintball and airsoft team, is expanding. To compliment our sports and online gaming, we would like to add simviation to our community.

The program is set up in military fashion with rank structure, awards, training and incentives. Each person has the opportunity to become part of a fantastic onine community of serious, dedicated flight simulation professionals. We do NOT tolerate childish behavior. All airports are are towered and it is expected that you follow thier directions.

We are looking for Pilots, Air Traffic Controllers, Modders, and Flight Planners. Are you a real pilot? You get credit for it! Would you like real world training (i.e. basic concepts, IFR, multi engine, commercial) you can get that too!

Communication will be provided on crystal clear comm servers that you can customize to work with your yoke or stick.

There is a nominal yearly fee, but this is simply to cover our cost for the servers.

If you are interested in joining, helping create this community or you have questions, you can respond here or email administration@sfdeltat.com

You can also check out our website at www.sfdeltat.com (no simviation information yet)

Now, here's how it works.

Everyone has to certify in the positions they want. Once certified, you get our stamp of approval. Pilots will fly, ATC's will give direction, Modders create and/or repaint aircraft, and planners plan. However, you don't get the certification unless you show a great deal of competency if your chosen field. Therefore, you have good pilots, reliable ATC's, accurate flight plans and specialized aircraft that work.

You will have monthly requirements as to participation time. This ensures that ATC's are on duty, pilots are flying and everyone is working as a team to ensure the highest quality experience.

We would like to form "units" of folks into thier respective trades. I.E. fighter pilots, attack pilots, etc. These units would have a unit commander, vice commander and other such rank structure. A unit would have a training officer and these units would be expected to train monthly as part of thier monthly participation.

The rank structure is Identical to the USAF, except we also use "warrant officers" in the rank structure.

Every 90 days we will have a scenario event or "war games". Fighter pilots will "fight", Attack pilots will "attack", Tanker pilots will fly missions, Cargo pilots will fly missions, VIP Transport pilots will fly missions, FP's need to have the plans written and published, and ATC's need to control it all.

This should probably be in the 'Other Website' or Multiplayer boards. But no offense, being a member of one branch of the military is enough for me... ;D
