CFS2 Combat Clouds and Sabre vs MiG

I am trying to install the old Sabre vs MiG mod for CFS2. It gets most of the way through the install and then stops and tells me it can't proceed and give me this error message: "Cannot open the following file: C:\Games\CFS2\Combat Clouds\Combat Clouds 2.$$A." Then it tells me I have to run the utility again to complete the installation which of course, I do and then get the same error. What is this file? I don't see it anywhere. How can I get around this error?

Did you put it in a fresh install of CFS2?

k i found it. but i'm not buying it just to test it. sorry. if it is the paywear version that i found than i suggest getting intouch with the ones who made it.
