Can I ask a non-CFS2 question?- Are there any good combat helicopter sims on the market?
I used to play the fabulous 'Longbow 2' and 'Gunship' some years ago but they seem to have become extinct, and I also recall there were others around such as Comanche and Hokum etc which have vanished too.
A net search for anything has just come up blank, so it seems there's a big gap in the market unless I'm missing something?

I never got 'into' those sims, so I can't help you with availability of chopper sims.....BUT I can put you in touch with the guys who can.   I just have to dig out the info....film at 11. 

AND  We have some really nice armed choppers (both player and AI versions) in CFS2 that have been used to create some great combat missions.  Of course, you can also use MB to create your own missions.   I have done this myself. 

Thanks, I'm still getting back into CFS2 after an absence, I've been playing it on and off for years and I'm rusty.
My most recent foray was into the IL-2 series but it wasn't my cup of tea, and just as a matter of interest I'd like to hear what you guys think of that one?
