Although I install aircraft into CFS2 they appear in the file OK but, apart from one or two exceptions do not appear when selected for Free Flight etc. The few aircraft that do appear are Alpha Sim. All the rest do not show. I am using Windows 7 and the simulator works OK, but I would like a change from the default aircraft. Any help would be welcome. :-?

The most common reason for addon aircraft not appearing in Freeflight is the SOUND folder.

Same for jet engine sound, I downloaded a Heinkel 162 and a Me-262 but the Heinkel wouldn't work, so I copied the 262 sound file into it and it now works fine.

ahhh Jets. got to love them.

you need the file for the LEAR45.
